In Spain, 301 tons of fishing nets residues are generated annually, which 70 percent of these are potentially recyclable. This project has changed the conventional way of production and design of common sunglasses, using wasted fishing nets as the main material, a 100% recycled material and 100% recyclable.

 

Presenting a different way of recycling. The nets are triturated and then pressed in warm dish molds with no need of being granulated into pellets, Due to this, there is a reduction of energy used in the process.
